Productive Day

Had a great quilting day. Made this for someone special=(who shall remain nameless), but LOVES Hello Kitty:

Theresa made these for her hubby and son:

Also started and finished the top of a raffle quilt for my Melyssa's friends who are expecting a baby with a birth defect, known as omphalocele see:

This is the quilt top so far--still needs to quilted and needs binding put on:

Also, got pictures of my "miracles" in their dresses that I made for them:
Excuse the poor picture quality on Melyssa's-(she obviously doesn't get how important these pics are to me!)

EYE CANDY

Well, Theresa and I are commissioned to make a quilt for a couple getting married May, 2012.....didn't think it would be easy to find the colors that our friend/co-worker wanted (the aunt of the bride)....BUT we were on a quest...visited no less than 4 quilt shops....NOTHING.....than we went to our JOANNS and WOOHOO...found it!!

Grey, yellow and white, with a touch of black.....

More eye candy! Look what I got in the mail on Friday...love the colors! I have no idea what I will use for a pattern...hhmmmmm.......

Hospital quilt

Added two more squares to our hospital quilt (due September):

I can actually feel the emotions of these words as they pertain to the families that decide to donate their loved ones organs and also, the same emotions that the nurse's go through as they care for that family's loved ones during what is THE MOST devastating time of their lives.

God Bless them!

I rarely sew clothes

So....what put a bee in my bonnet to make these dresses and matching scrunchies for Melyssa and Amanda? Probably because the material was so cute and I knew with my serger I probably couldn't mess them up:

My hope is that I'll get them to pose in them for my Wordless Wednesday....we'll see!
