Untitled

On our way to Chicago to see our daughter, Amanda graduate from Navy Bootcamp!

I don't do cold very well, so this will be quite the adventure.......

Christmas was fun, although I sorely missed my baby! Darkel was on leave, so I got to spend some time with him and Melyssa! We had some GREAT dinners together!

Christmas Eve:

I know, terrible pictures, but the only ones I took!

Can't wait to get all pictures of my quilts that we're give away this year, everyone promised me pictures (hint, hint), so I can post the recipients with them!

Sherwood and I both worked Christmas, and it was a rough shift, but we made it through!

Looking so forward to our vacation!

WAYWO MID DECEMBER 2015

Stockings for the new twins, a doctor's new son, my boss and my brother!

A pillowcase for my sister (since I convinced her to get a "My Pillow")

A reversible table runner for my niece (who loves cowboy stuff):

Went through all my Christmas fabric, hoping to use my stash for a quilt for our home, ridiculously, I don't think I have enough "matching-ish" fabric to make one, but I will try:

Starting a scrap Christmas quilt using present stash!

Happy Birthday To Me

I enjoyed my 55th birthday so much! I was teased about now being old enough to get a "senior citizen's discount". Not funny (even if it's true!)

My birthday morning started when my husband presented me with an iWatch! It will probably take me until my next birthday until I learn all it's capabilities!

Shortly after that, my best quilting buddy, Theresa picked me up and took me to our favorite fabric store, M&L. On the way I got to unwrap several gifts from her, including a gift card for a massage, many, many buttons for my button collection (she has been collecting them from as far as Japan).

We did some major damage there!

Fun times!

Went to "TAPS" for late lunch with Melyssa and Sherwood!

Then, as I requested, home to relax for the rest if the night!

They just need a label and off they go to a nurse at work! These are for her bff's two boys! I hope they enjoy them! Baseball themed!!

Next up is the last quilt for my nephew in Vacaville! He rides a "Harley", hence the motorcycle themed quilt!

And then.....I can start MY Christmas list!!

2 Down, 4 more to ho

Completed the "Curious George" quilt. My husband delivered it today!

,

It was supposed to be a Christmas gift from dad to son, but dad couldn't wait to give it to home, so here he is with his new Curious George Quilt:
And he fell asleep with it that night!
