A week in the Sierras

Sherwood and I went on our annual (#2) week vacation in Bridgeport, where we stayed in the Aspen cabin at Doc and Al's. It was VERY relaxing and felt good to get away from phones, computers, TV. Luckily for me there is electricity so I got to sew to my hearts content while Sherwood went catching a million trout!

I did a little knitting on shore:

Love, love, love this "Peppercorn" stitch!

I see a lot of Christmas quilts in my future as I took a lot of scraps from past years and cut them up into half square triangles.....I love quilts made with hsts!

I also finally put the velcro on all the bibs....so many babies coming!

And the most satisfying:

Simple charms sewn together that made a VERY lovely FALL/CHRISTMAS Quilt....all from my stash (bought 5 years ago). I love this one, will be hard to let it go! Just needs borders!

Waywo

We gave Daeve the baby quilt since we will not be seeing her at the shower ( out of town)!

She loved it! Yah!

Working on:

My quilting bff, Theresa just became granny of boy#2, Gavin, so: gifts from Auntie Jo:

Hubby bought me two "sewy" night shirts!

LOVE THEM!

Still plugging along on my Anniversary quilt!

I also started this Halloween wall hanging that I have been wanting to make for years! I just need to add borders now!

Appropriately named "Any Witch Way"

Needs borders and quilting!

Will be going on vacation-where we are there's no cell, no computer access, no TV- luckily electricity in our cabin! Plan to finish this quilt and a few others!

Sew, Sew Sew.......

I'm packed up!

The dogs sense something.....
