For my eldest

My oldest daughter and I have the same taste in fabrics (mostly), so I made her a cosmetic bag with some material I was hoarding for myself! I LOVE the way it turned out!

This is a pattern from Crafty Gemini (the UTUBE video) that I have used a hundred times! But it still takes me about an hour to make since I quilt my own fabrics together!

Selfish Sewing

Put all projects on hold to make myself a new composition book cover for work! I haven't had a new one since Valentine's Day:

Now replaced with an everyday fabric! And of course I timed myself!

Yah me! I bet work will be a lot more fun now......not!

Text from Amanda:

She has the best sense of humor! I guess she gets bored at the car wash!

Friday and Saturday Projects

Tried to get caught up on some projects:

2 dog beds:

Cover for the heating pad (cuz hubby hurt his back bad):

And I made a purse from a "Dog Under My Desk" pattern. So complex, glad I made it once, turned out pretty proessional looking if I do say so myself. Wish I had made it for myself, but my sister, Jana will be very excited and appreciative to get a "LA KINGs" purse.

Received in the mail today: Monsters Inc fabric to finish a quilt for my friend's daughter! Front is YOYOGABAGABA! It is the next to,go on my Longarm! I still have been procrastinating finishing the donation quilt that is on it now....maybe tomorrow....

I also WON this pattern and fabric from Sandy's giveaway. I will be using this pattern and material to make a quilt for the ALS foundation!

Amanda was in town to see the dentist, so we got to take her to dinner and get some lovin'

Love that girl!

Wednesday Doings

I'm getting behind on "promised" items, trying to catch up! There's a pretty good chance that I will soon be working 4 days a week---Mon, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday! 10 hour days, but still, an extra day off, yah!

Made a reversible Tablerunner tonight for my brother, Jeff: note he has the same black lab as in the material:

And a reversible one for my daughter who requested "wine fabric":
