The Old Grey Mare:

She is what she used to be:

Went on an impromptu trip to my mom's today. Needed to put the binding on a quilt Theresa and I are working on for someone at work (she's commissioned us!) grabbed my Singer Featherweight because it was already packed up in its box AND was already to go!!!! I LOVED USING IT!!!!!!!!

Finished sewing the binding on while watching a video of "Human Nature" a tribute to Motown by 4 Australian men- introduced by Smokey Robinson. Super great harmony! My mom is very into music and saw the band on TV and ordered the video------time went by fast!!

Home now: tootles!

Friday Going Ons

Participated in a Boutique that my friend, Susan's business "The Day...Your Way" sponsored. There were many awesome vendors----Petals, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Moxxie ( scrumptuous handmade soaps and creams), baked goods booth, jewelry galore, and many others.....

Here is what I sold:

I am definitely a better sewer than photographer------especially wih my if I could only find my Cannon SureShot.......

Ez Reversible Tablerunner

I volunteered to teach a class for "The Day...Your Way" (see the website by the same name).

We all made reversible tablerunners: one side St. Patricks Day, other side Easter/spring

I think we all enjoyed ourselves and eveyone went home with a finished product.

These two cute things are our newbie ICU nurses! (above)

And my two nieces finished their runners in no time at all, then went to dance:

Good Times!

Lisa even sent a picture to me showing me the runner in her house!

And Susan's:

And what was my husband doing while we were sewing?

Taking my daughter's boyfriend,Tony out for his first drink because he jst turned 21!

I has a great day!
