I have been working on these hexagon blocks (flowers?) for years. Each is from a different piece of Japanese fabric! I have no particular plan for these, but I am making some headway, and enjoying every bit of the process!

Made 2 things for my husband's trip:
#1--a pillowcase made for my husband's buddy, Paul, who is a Michigan graduate:
And I made a special fishing case for my husband. Now he keeps his gps and flashlight in it!
I don't know how it became so late for us to realize that our friend/coworker is having her 50th birthday, but we have 1week to make a quilt!
Luckily, I already had an idea and material in mind. The hard part was convincing Theresa that my quilt idea was THE one!
So far: using my accuquilt 4 1/2 inch HST die:
Made 4 more flowers these last few days---- got the material for 3 of the flowers in San Fransisco this last weekend, and finished the turquoise one from my Japanese fabric stash!
So happy the three of us (Theresa's husband called us the 3 Stooges-I prefer the 3 Quilting Stooges) got to attend our October Quilt Guild Meeting? So much fun just to get together outside the hospital, and talk "quilt"!
We got to wear the name tags I made us for Halloween Month!
Theresa and I sewed the binding down on some placemats Theresa made for our philanthropy cause:
We made Sandy thread the needles-group effort!
I got to up to "show n tell" the quilt I made for my daughter's wedding:
I cannot wait until next month! It's one of my favorite days!
My mother, great-nephew and son-in-law have birthdays these last few days! We celebrated at our house! The Mickey Mouse and Cars Quilt and Halloween Mickey tablerunner were a hit!
I am selling my Grace Frame and 13" Bailey midarm for $1500. If you are reading this and ready to quilt your own quilts (with NO basting required) then this is a great deal for you! I have used this machine for the last few years-every quilt on my blog has been quilted on this, easily, thus far! So if you live in Southern California (I live 15 minutes away from Disneyland), this may just be for you! Please reply here!
I am the proud new owner of a 18" Babylock Crown Jewel II with the Momentum frame! If I hadn't got such a great deal (for the floor model) I could never have upgraded and would have stayed quilting with my beloved Bailey forever-this was rather an unexpected purchase, but I am so excited to use it!
I have been in a finish it and ship it mode! Got two quilts done and out of the house this weekend:
This label went on a baby quilt for a co-worker's little girl
This is hot off the quilting frame for my friend's 4th son, Kellen
His room is done in Star wars, so his back is that fabric!
The almost identical quilt is finished for my great nephew, Ryder, my whole family will get together this coming Sunday at our house to celebrate 3 birthdays: Ryder's, Darkel's and mom's!
Back of Ryder's quilt:
