Emily over today for sewing/crafting. We made American Girl pj pants (we bought this material a while ago.)
Also bought a Rainbow Loom and made some bracelets!
And on the frame----my first quilt that i made for me! The one that keeps taking the back seat to other quilts:
Love the button and thread material!
I had 3 things on my must do today list.
Finish 2 potholders:
Trash can for my car:
Bind the tablerunner for our friend's Napa Valley housewarming present:
The backing was so cute, too!
All QOV done! Labels on, stacked and ready for pickup tomorrow!
We just can't help ourselves-we are "kids in a candy store" around all that fabric!!
Finished this at 0200 while watching a taped "Project Runway". That actually helped me to keep sewing when I was tired and wanted to poop out. Now there are 5 tops at at least to the "flimsie "stage. Theresa has got her two tops quilted!
I am very confident that I/we can finish all of these by September 17th!!
I am also THRILLED with a necklace/pincuchion that I made using a pincushion and an old, favorite eyeglass chain. I sewed the plastic loops to the top of the heart. Now when I am at the design wall, I can be hands free and arrange and re-arrange to my hearts content!
6 QOV in 19 days.......
Needed more reds, navys, backgrounds-a quick trip to Joanns:
#1 on the frame ready to be quilted!
