Back to Abnormal
Feeling much, much better! Had to give up all sweets and carbonated beverages (since all I drink is caffeine free diet pepsi), it's been hard! New medication and I should be 100% soon!
Back to quilting!
Plus an extra (maybe due to guilt over finishing his 2013 Christmas in May 2014)
Had enough "Big Bang Theory" material to make a tablerunner for my niece!

California Fires
A big thank you to all the firefighters who worked so hard to contain all these recent fires!
Alot of my family memebers were evacuated, but luckily, none had damage and are now safely back home!

Updates
Been working on alot of little things:
An embroidered blanket for a dr's newborn son.
Some hexies to add to my 52 already finished ones
And finally got Erics quilt on the frame!
My son-in-law took my daughter and I for a pedicure!
They got evacuated from their house in Escondido and stayed a couple of days with us! Here they are dressed up for a formal wedding on Saturday....aren't the a beautiful couple?
Hope to be finished with all my little projects,plus Eric's quilt by Tomorrow night!
Also made sewing pjs for Theresa and I-for our lazy sewing days!

My Mother'sDay
What a great day I had. Got to sleep in (best present ever). My youngest daughter, Amanda, spent the weekend here (well, on and off in between seeing friend). Went to Ruby's for lunch ( discovered there turkey burger with brie and cranberry sauce...yum!), went shopping (good shopping day), got home and flowers were delivered to me from my daughter, Melyssa and son-in-law, Darkel. Both had also called and wished me a great day!
Had a surf n turf dinner cooked by my hubby, sweet dessert, and then some gifts from Amanda!
Was able to finish my sister's KINGS purse-just needed to add a button, that's all the craftiness that got done today!
Plus mother's day is extended-Melyssa is coming to spend the evening her on Tuesday!

Happy 30th Anniversary
What? Thirty years? How is that possible? Time really does fly!
That was May 5, 1984!
This is now: May 5, 2014!
I could not have asked for a more perfect partner to walk with me throughout our lives!
I cannot imagine life without the comfort of your arms, and the support you always give! I am your biggest fan ....here's to the next thirty!
