What I Have Been Working On

Made this walker caddy for Juli:

Still making Quilt Of Valor Quilts: This one is on the design wall:

This one is also on the design wall in it's infancy:

Although I know that I have not gotten QOV's out of my system, I am starting Christmas Quilts! Pulled all my appropriate green, white/cream and red fabrics from my stash and will add some more Christmas fabrics tomorrow, when hubby takes me to our storage facility where boxes of my Christmas fabric live.

The following is a great picture of my stepmom with Colton:

And my lovely daughter, Amanda sent me surprise packages:

I have a pattern already in mind for the beautiful batiks!

So unexpected and lovely!

I have been knitting scarves for Christmas gifts:

PEPPERCORN stitched scarf:

WISHBONE CABLE scarf:

GIRAFFE BABY BEANIE IS ALMOST DONE (if only I can get the hand of double point needles to decrease):

I also receive my ACCUQUILT quarter square in the mail so I can participate in this year's 2016-2017 leader/ender project with Bonnie Hunter from Quiltville! I have no project in mind to start, but I am sure I will get inspiration from her site! I will just cut up,scraps and see where that takes me.

I had SO much fun with last year's TUMBLER leader/ender, it was my favorite die, and I actually wore out my 3" die and had to replace it!

Lots of Love

Got some time in after a long hiatus with Theresa (best quilting buddy ever).

She won 2 ribbons in the Orange County Fair for her Owl Quilt:

Your Go Girl....I am so proud of you!

I also got a lot of baby love:

This is Jimmy, Nicole's baby girl!

This is Baron, Danielle's baby boy!

And this is Colton, my great nephew! I got to babysit him for a couple of hours and we are buddies now!

Juli's Birthday

The first part of my day was sucky! Had to drop Amanda off at the airport to return to Chicago. She had been with us for 30 days (recovering from surgery!) and we had the best time together!

I tried to convince her to go AWOL, but she wasn't buying it? Just kidding!

GO NAVY!

Spent her last day doing a bit of shopping:

Getting mani/pedis:

Had our last dinner together last night!

Celebrated my second oldest sister's birthday (a little late due to her recent surgery).

A great time was had by all!

Brother, Jeff was nice enuf to let us invade his house while he was busy winning the jackpot for the biggest fish!

He came home to dinner and Tripoly!

My sister, Jessica joined us today and I made her "Dime Bag" for Tripoly. She caught on quickly!
