My little sweat shop was open today! Being the only employee with 2 commissioned quilt orders, 2 babies born this month, one quilt already on the frame---aye, aye, aye....I sewed and quilted myself to exhaustion!
First quilt is in the flimsy stage-will be loaded on the frame in the morning! It is for my son-in-law's grandmother who's birthday is September 1st.
Also, this is quilted and ready for binding! It is an old UFO! I originally made it using the 10minute block pattern-made from a layer cake! Ended up not being a favorite pattern to make, but I am glad it's nearly finished and out of my sewing room!
Very fall looking quilt! I believe it will be a gift for my sister, Jana's in laws!
visiting from sew many ways. Wow you look super busy.
ReplyDeleteBoth are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour quilting plate is full! I want to make a tumbler quilt, so it was great to see yours. Visiting from sew Many Ways.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons that I picked this pattern is that I have the accuquilt with the tumbler die! It makes this SO easy-all the corners match up perfectly!
DeleteAlways loved the tumbler design and one day I might just get around to doing one as well. Love the colours and especially using old material thats full of memories is such a great idea.
