I have been doing hand appliqué on my "anniversary quilt" for many, many hours this weekend! This is my progress:
Despite my best efforts, my leaf tips need a little work? The best part of this project is the preparation of the pieces for the process, I thought that I would find this part tedious, but I really enjoyed the hours I spent turning the edges under with the starch , double freezer paper method!
I need to quilt a lot of other projects this weekend, so I am off to do those!
