Bday quilt

Theresa and I:

Finished a quilt for a nurse's big year birthday! She 's a very feminine lady and the focus fabric had girlie stuff open it ( diamond rings, nail polish, little black dress, martini, shoes, purses) which we thought suited her to a tee! Sorry the pictures are so blurry, I could get her to stop moving, and she was trying not to cry!

This is the back-hearts and a label with our picture!

She loved it!

Now I am working on a quilt for my brother, Jeff's house! Found some "manly" fabric that matches his new brown couches! Doing a " Double Slice" quilt pattern from MSQC! One of my "go to" patterns-let's you show off the material!

  1. Looks like she was really impressed by your work - super job! Are you a nurse too? You all get my admiration - nurses are absolute angels on earth!

    1. Yes, I am an old RN! I have worked at this hospital for 33 years! Theresa is a nurse too! We make quilts for all the nurses who gave a major bday, wedding, baby or gets sick! That keeps us very busy!
